Hey BOOZOO676

I don't think that it's next impossible to find a job that makes a saving of $ 2000 after all expenses. However, the major question here is what you have to get it done. I would suggest a couple of alternatives if you elaborate more about your visa status, educational  qualifications ( from Nepal and earned here), previous work experience and any special training/certification you possess. On top of that, rate yourself in your Communication skills in the scale of 1 to 10. I would be able to advise you on what could be appealing for you after that. There're so many avenues that you can cash on.

Good Luck !

"ready to do dishes if that saves me $2000.....dollars "

Try the Chinatown agencies (for restaurant jobs) where I've seen many cats who just get here to NYC get paid upto 3Gs a month in cash for well-experienced and around 2.5Gs with only a year's experience (that too live-in...where you'd spend nothing on living expenses).  Chances are you might get a job thats in close proximity to DC and if you're new to the US, you won't even require SS for most of the jobs from that agency.  All the best.
