दोहा (कतार), फाल्गुन १४ -
रोजगारीका लागि कतार आएका एक युवक दोहा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा तीन दिनसम्म अलपत्र परे । उनी काम गर्न आएको कम्पनी लिन नआएपछि विमानस्थलमै कहिले यता त कहिले उता गरेर बसे । त्यही विमानस्थलमा काम गर्ने नेपालीहरूले तिनको हालत देखेर सोधखोज गरे । युवक धनुषाका रहेछन् तर उनलाई न नेपाली भाषा आउँथ्यो न मैथिली न त हिन्दी नै ।
पछि उनलाई नेपाली दूतावासले उद्धार गर्यो । बुझ्दै जाँदा थाहा भयो, उनको त राहदानीमात्र नेपाली रहेछ । उनी रहेछन् बंगलादेशी । 'मेरो नाम नजरुल मण्डल, घर बंगलादेशको पप्ना जिल्ला हो,' एक दोभाषेमार्फत यी २८ वर्षे युवाले भने, 'मैले राहदानी नेपालमा व्यापार गर्ने आफ्नै गाउँका दाइ पर्नेमार्फत नेपाली एजेन्टबाट किनेर ल्याएको हुँ ।' उनी धनुषा, सिनुरजोडा ५ का सञ्जीवकुमार मण्डलको २१६१३२५ नम्बरको राहदानीमा फोटो परिवर्तन गरेर आएका हुन् । राहदानी खरिदसहित एजेन्टलाई २ लाख ३० हजार टाका रकम बुझाएको उनले बताए ।
मण्डलले आफूलाई मेसिनको काम गर्ने भनेर पठाएको जनाएका छन्, तर उनको पेपर भिसामा लेबर काम भनेर उल्लेख छ । 'मलाई कम्पनीले महिनाको २० हजार टाका बराबरको तलब दिन्छ भनेर पठाएका हुन्,' उनले सुनाए, 'म एक साता काठमाडौं बस्दा मेसिनको काम गर्न पनि सिकाएका थिए ।'
आठ दिनदेखि दूतावासको आश्रयस्थलमा रहेका मण्डल त्रिभुवन विमानस्थलको अध्यागमनबाट फागुन ३ गते दोहा उत्रेका थिए । नेपालका कुनै पनि भाषा नजान्ने व्यक्ति नेपाली राहदानीमा कसरी त्रिभुवन विमानस्थलबाट दोहा आए भनेर उनलाई भेट्नेहरूले आश्चर्य मानेका छन् । 'त्रिभुवन विमानस्थलमा नेपाली राहदानी देख्नासाथ नानाथरि प्रश्न सोधेर हैरान पार्छन्, उनी (बंगलादेशी) लाई कसरी आउन दिए ?'
१२ वर्षदेखि दोहामा काम गर्दै आएका महोत्तरी गौशालाका राजकुमार ठाकुरले कान्तिपुरसँग भने । उनले यसअघि अर्का एक बंगलादेशी कंगाल सिंह (तपन) भन्ने व्यक्ति झापाका कुलवीर लिम्बूको राहदानीमा कतार आएको बताए ।
दूतावासले नेपाली राहदानी किनेर विदेशी कामदार आउनाले नेपालीको भिसा कोटा र रेमिट्यान्स गुम्ने चिन्ता व्यक्त गरेको छ । राहदानी बिक्री गर्न पठाउने एजेन्ट वा एजेन्सीलाई कारबाही नगरे अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय रूपमा यस्ता घटनाले नेपालको प्रतिष्ठामा समेत आँच पुग्ने दूतावासका अधिकारीहरूको भनाइ छ ।
नेपाली राहदानी किनेर वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा आउने समस्या कतारमा मात्र छैन । साउदी अरब र कुबेतमा उत्तिकै छ । साउदी अरेबिया दूतावासले विशेष गरी भारतीय युवतीहरू नेपाली सीमा क्षेत्रका जिल्लामा पासपोर्ट किनेर आउने गरेको बताउँदै आएको छ ।

It is not new, I had a friend of mine used to be a officer of Ministry of Home and used to be working in Airport. His had good extra income / I think it is ( corruption ) accepted in Nepal. According to his version many Afgan /Pakastani/ Middleesast people used to travel on Nepali passport. If they do not know much any Nepali language were targeted and get thousands of dollars to let them go out of Trivhuvan International Airport. This was the story of 17/18 years ago, what you expect now.
